Hello Church family,
I hope you are enjoying our outdoor worship services and free lunch each Sunday. The Lord has sure blessed us with some beautiful weather and a lot of very nice people to help. This weekend I plan to bring the message, “The Resurrection Of Jesus Christ” from John 20:1-18; communion will follow. Please read through the attached “Digging Deeper” Bible study notes before Sunday to get the most out of the message.
Gospel Jubilee – Open Mic
Our next “Gospel Jubilee – Open Mic” is scheduled for 3:00pm this Sunday in the Sanctuary. I hope you can join Tom, Debbie, and Steve for a great time of worship music and fellowship.
Special Need – Clayton
Clayton Ashbaugh just called me and said he has no one to sit with him from Friday at 5:00pm to Saturday at 5:00pm. Are any of you willing to help Clayton out for this 24-hour period? If you are, please let me know.
Ladies Night Out Cancelled This Week
Our Women’s Ministry will not be holding “Ladies Night Out” this Friday because of the Labor Day weekend. We will pick up this activity on the first Friday in October.
Men’s Breakfast Cancelled this Weekend
Our “Men’s Breakfast” usually meets the first Saturday of every month. Because of Labor Day weekend, the men will not be meeting this month as usual. Frank DeSpain said we will resume the breakfast in October when the topic of discussion will be “communication.”
Men’s Roundup
I will be leading some men going to “Men’s Roundup” September 9th-11th. This is the largest Men’s Christian Conference in the Northwest with pre-covid numbers ranging from 1,200-1,500 men. If you are interested in attending this year’s Roundup, please give me a call at 541-297-1571.
Nursery In Need
Nursery Director Holly Harluckowicz has put out an urgent plea for more nursery workers. That is great news because it means that we are getting a lot of young couples in the church with several new babies. If you are willing to help, please give Holly a call at 541-290-0318.

The first official night of club will be Wednesday, September 21st. If you are interested in signing your children up (or even helping in club) please give Jessie Barnard a call at 541-808-0902.

Thank You
Thank you for your faithful support of the ministry at Shoreline Community Church, your sacrifice is greatly appreciated.
Praise the Lord!
Please be praying about whom you can invite to church this week. One young couple brought a young man to church last weekend and the young man surrendered his life to Christ – praise the Lord! We will be setting up a baptism service for him in the near future.
Have a blessed week in the Lord as you walk closely with Jesus!
In Christian Love,
Michael J. Barnard
