Men’s Ministry

SCC’s Men’s Ministry is aimed at helping men grow in their relationship with Christ and with each other.

“…train yourself to be godly. For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.”  ~ 1 Timothy 4:7b-8

What can you expect to find in Shoreline Men’s Ministry?

• “Men’s Breakfast” at 9:00am on the first Saturday of each month.
• Service projects to help people in need both within the church and in our community.
• Men’s fishing ministry (Note: Those participating split the cost)
• Annual “Shoreline Men’s Retreat” at Camp Fir Point in Glendale, OR
• Annual trip to “Men’s Roundup” at Camp Tadmor in Lebanon, OR – the largest Men’s Christian Conference in the Northwest!
• 

At Shoreline Community Church, we believe that men are called by God to be the spiritual leaders of their families.  It is our goal to help men of all ages to reach their spiritual potential and become the kind of Christ-like leaders that God has called them to be.

Mission Statement:  “We are a group of men committed to being fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ, and put Him first in all aspects of our life.  We believe that the Holy Spirit empowers and guides us through our life, and provides the direction we need to live godly lives.  We will become Christ-like servants in our church, home, and community while influencing generational adherence to scriptural truths.”

Vision Statement: Our desire is to develop a community of men dedicated to cultivating real relationships and spiritual maturity through the word of God.  Our aim is to be men of strong character and integrity who serve and support one another with intentionality toward glorifying the kingdom of God. Our commitment is to use our time, energy, and resources to meet the needs of men at Shoreline and in the community.  To train and equip men to become strong, authentic, courageous, enduring men of God fully committed to live our lives in a Christ-like manner for future generations.
