Hello everyone,
This Sunday I plan continue our series in the Book of Romans as I bring the message, “I Have Made It My Aim to Preach the Gospel” from Romans 15:14-21. (Communion will follow the message.) Please read through the attached “Digging Deeper” Bible study notes before Sunday to get the most out of the message.
Baptism Service
We’ve had a few more people express interest in following the Lord in water baptism. As of right now I am tentatively looking at Sunday November 8th. If you have never followed the Lord in water baptism by immersion and would like to, please let me know as soon as possible.
20th Anniversary Of Shoreline – 6:00pm Friday, November 6th
A celebration will be held for the 20th anniversary of Shoreline Community Church at 6:00pm Friday, November 6th. Please come expecting a remarkable evening of worship and shared memories. I plan to speak a little about “The Miracle of Shoreline” as we look at what God has done at church throughout the years. From 22 broken people meeting in the basement of Abel Insurance in 2006 to over 400 people calling Shoreline their home church today, what a journey it’s been. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share with everyone. Note: This will also mark over 30 years of fulltime ministry for me along with 20 years as the Lead Pastor of Shoreline. Additionally, November 6th will fall just seven days after Cheryl and I celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary. We would be honored if you could attend this special evening with us as we look back at what God has done at Shoreline through the years. (No gifts please, just your love and friendship). Please be ready to share some memories of how God has worked in your life during your time at Shoreline.
Mission 119:11 (Children’s mid-week ministry)
Children preschool through 6th Grade are invited to join us at 6:30pm tonight for “Superhero Night.” Children are encouraged to come dressed up in the costume of their favorite hero for this fun evening of ministry.
