Hello everyone,
This weekend I plan to bring the message, “Prophecy Of The Coming Messiah” from Dan. 9:20-27; communion will follow. Please read through the attached “Digging Deeper” Bible study notes before Sunday to get the most out of the message. Our children will also be doing a special song during the worship service.
Updated Telephone Directory
I’ve asked our church secretary Tara Cook to update our telephone directory. Many new people are attending Shoreline now and many of you will be receiving calls from her in the days ahead to see what information (if any) that we may include in our new church directory. There has been some talk about getting a new picture directory together, but it will be some time before we can do that.
Ladies Christmas Party (Please note the change)
Our “Ladies Christmas Party” is scheduled for 5:00-8:00pm Friday, December 16. Carolyn Abel was originally scheduled to host the party in her home but came down with the bug. (Please remember Carolyn in your prayers.). As a result, the party will be moved to the home of Karen Brown at 960 Oakway Drive in Coos Bay. The ladies are invited to bring: A wrapped ornament for a white elephant exchange; Side dish for dinner potluck style/or a drink; 2/3 dozen cookies for an exchange. Frontline/Solid Ground Christmas Party
Our upcoming Christmas party for the students is scheduled for 7:00-9:00pm Monday, December 19th at the home of John and Stefanie Ahlers at 3457 Spruce Street in North Bend. Frontline and Solid Ground aged students are invited to attend!
Christmas Services
With Christmas Day falling on a Sunday this year, we will be doing two identical services, the first will be 6:00pm Saturday, December 24th and the second 10:30am December 25th. Please be praying about whom you can invite to church with you this Christmas!
