And Simon Peter answered and said “You are
the Christ, the Son of the living God.” And Jesus
answered and said unto him, “Blessed are you,
Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood has not
revealed it unto you, but my Father which is in
heaven” ((Matthew 16:16-17).
When the Holy Spirit reveals the truth of the
Bible to us we are surprised, even amazed by its
wisdom.
When He reveals our hearts to us we cry out
as the apostle Peter cried out, “Depart from me:
for I am a sinful man, O Lord” (Luke 5:8) – What
do you cry when the Lord God shows you the
true state of “your” heart?
