This weekend I plan to bring the message, “Serving In The Newness Of The Spirit” from Romans 7:1-13, I hope you are enjoying our series through the Book of Romans as much as I am. Please read through the attached “Digging Deeper” Bible study notes to get the most out of the message this Sunday.
Ladies Night Out
Our next “Ladies Night Out” is scheduled for 6:00pm Friday, March 6th in the Passover Room. Come expecting lots of fun as the ladies play bunko together. Note: Please bring a snack to share with the other ladies.
Men’s Breakfast
Our next “Men’s Breakfast” is scheduled for 9:00am Saturday, March 7th. Men should expect lots of tasty food, some great fellowship, and a lively discussion to follow.
Operation Christmas Child Update
Thanks to all who participated in Operation Christmas Child. This year 12,205,900 shoeboxes were packed, of those, 3,682 shoeboxes came from the Southern Oregon Coast Team. That is a lot of happy children who received a shoebox the gospel message, thank you for your participation.
Congratulations
Congratulations to Nathaniel and Haley Quintanilla on their marriage last Saturday evening. Nathaniel and Haley exchanged their wedding vows at Cape Arago and were blessed by spectacular weather for late February and a beautiful sky as a backdrop.
Mission 119:11 – “White-Out Night”
Children preschool through 6th grade are invited to join our mid-week children’s ministry every Wednesday evening at 6:30pm. This week, the theme will be “White-Out Night.” Children can come expecting lots of fluorescent light games, this should be a very fun evening. The Buddy Williams “Health And Wellness Ministry”
Shoreline is beginning a brand-new ministry for screening potential health problems such as high blood pressure and hopefully it will eventually spread to blood sugar and other areas of concern. The purpose of this ministry is for screening and teaching. The ministry was inspired by the sudden death of our beloved soundman Buddy Williams at the age of 51 from a stroke. Apparently, Buddy had been fighting high blood pressure and perhaps if the ministry had been in place, we could have flagged it early enough to help. The ministry will be run by five current and retired nurses who will have an MD available for their questions. The ministry will take place on the 3rd Sunday of every month following church. Please be in prayer for this new ministry that it will save lives.
