Important Updates

Hello everyone,

This weekend I plan to continue our series through “The Book of Romans” with the message, “That Which Is Politically Correct And The Church” from Romans 1:18-2:1; please read the attached “Digging Deeper” Bible study notes before Sunday to get the most out of the message.

Daylight Savings Time

Daylight Savings Time starts this Sunday, November 2nd, remember is it Fall backwards, which means we get an extra hour of sleep on Sunday morning.

Men’s Breakfast

The next “Men’s Breakfast” is scheduled for 9:00am this Saturday at the church.  Men are invited to come expecting lots of tasty food, great fellowship, and a lively discussion to follow.

Gospel Jubilee Open Mic

Our next to last “Gospel Jubilee Open Mic” of the season is scheduled for 3:00pm Sunday afternoon at the church.  We hope you can join Tom and Debbie Trammel for a special time of country gospel music and an open mic allowing for people interested to share Christian songs.  If you would like to sing at the Jubilee, just let Tom or Debbie know.

MomCo – Tuesday, November 4

MomCo (Mom’s Community) will be meeting at 9:30am this Tuesday at the church.  If you are a young mother, we invite you to attend this special time together with other young mothers.  Childcare is available.

Ladies Fall Luncheon

The ladies Fall Luncheon is scheduled for Saturday, November 8th, be watching for more information to come out!

SCC Prayer Requests

The Williams Family ~ Please pray for the Williams family as Buddy went home to the Lord this morning.

Billy Philby ~ Please be in prayer for Billy Philby (brother of Maddy Gaoiran and Carol Bryant), Billy is hospitalized at Bay Area Hospital with pneumonia and possible blood clots.

Update

Thank you for your understanding while Cheryl and I were gone last week, my daughter Jennifer was hospitalized at OHSU for four days following her surgery. We finally have her home now, but she has a way to go for recovery.  Thank you for your continued prayers.

It has been a rough week at Shoreline with the death of Buddy Williams and lots of other things going on, but families pull together when times get tough. May God bless you this week as you walk closely with Him!
