Hello everyone,
This weekend I plan to bring the message, “Turning The Fast Into A Feast” from Zechariah 8:14-23.I hope you have been enjoying our series through the Book of Zechariah. Please read through the attached “Digging Deeper” Bible study notes before Sunday to get the most out of the message.
Ladies Night Out
Our next “Ladies Night Out” is scheduled for 6:00pm Friday, March 7th (tomorrow) in the Passover Room. Bunko will be the fun activity for the evening, please bring a potluck dish to share with the other ladies. Childcare is available.
Building Update
The carpet has now been installed in the sanctuary addition and most of the seats are in place. We are currently waiting for parts to install the fire-proof steel doors before we can get our temporary occupancy permit. We are getting close, thanks to everyone who has been volunteering their time and working so hard to make the addition a reality.
Men’s Retreat
Our next Men’s Retreat is scheduled for March 14th-16th (next weekend) at Camp Fir Point in Glendale, OR. I hope you can join me and the men there for a great time of fellowship and teaching of God’s Word. This year Jon Ahlers is heading up the retreat. Please sign up in the back of the sanctuary if you are interested in attending and also send me a quick email letting me know you plan to attend. Cost for this year’s retreat is $100.00 per man.
Women’s Sewing & Crafting
Our next “Women’s Sewing & Crafting gathering is scheduled for 10:00am Saturday, March 25th in the Passover Room. We encourage you to bring your projects and join the ladies for a time of fun and fellowship.
I look forward to seeing you 10:30am this Sunday at church! Remember, prayer time is at 8:30am and Sunday School at 9:30am with three adult electives available.
