Hello everyone,
This weekend I plan to bring the message, “Obedience Is Better than Pretend Religion” from Zechariah 7:1-14.I hope you have been enjoying this interesting series and the way that it connects, not only to Zechariah’s time, but also to the end times. The book will get more and more interesting as we go. Please read through the attached “Digging Deeper” Bible study notes before Sunday to get the most out of the message.
Student Apologetic Conference Lock-In
Our next “Student Apologetic Conference Lock-In” is scheduled for tomorrow (February 21st) beginning at 2:30pm and ending at 4:00pm on Saturday, February 22nd. Pray Oregon Coast
Our next “Pray Oregon Coast” community prayer and worship event is scheduled for 6:00pm Friday, February 21st at Grace Church in North Bend. I hope you can join Pastor Dave Rymer and myself there for this beautiful time of worship.
Women’s Sewing and Crafts
There will be no “Women’s Sewing and Crafts” meeting this month, the group will pick back up again next month 10:00am Saturday, March 15th.
Men’s Retreat
Our next Men’s Retreat is scheduled at Camp Fir Point in Glendale, OR during the weekend of March 14th-16th. I hope you can join me and the men there for a great time of fellowship and the Word. This year Jon Ahlers is heading up our Men’s Retreat. We have a signup sheet in the back of the Sanctuary and the cost should be right around $100.00 per man.
Single Senior Saints
We are starting a new fellowship opportunity for Single Senior Saints (SSS) next month. The primary focus will be on filling the void of fellowship among those who find themselves desiring to do “something,” but would enjoy doing that “something” with others. We will be meeting at Ezekiel’s Coffee Shop 10:00am Thursday, March 6th to talk about what that “something” may be for you. Any questions, please call Evelyn Luce at 541-294-8584.
